‘Orange Is The New Black’ Season 4 Ready For Its Rumored June 2016 Release; New Faces Noted!

"Orange is the New Black" season 4 has finally wrapped up its filming for its anticipated release date of June 2016, and new faces have been noticed to have joined the gang.

In the Twitter post of Danielle Brooks on Tuesday, as shared by Moviefone, she announced that it was only their last day of filming.

"Last day shooting @OITNB Season 4 and what a Season it has been!!" wrote Brooks, who has been playing Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson on the Netflix comedy, drama series.

This was confirmed by Taylor Schilling, who is set to reprise her role as Piper Chapman in "Orange is the New Black" season 4, in her own Twitter account.

"Filming for @OITNB Season 4 is finally complete! #BringOn2016," she posted.

Moviefone reported that since the previous season were composed of 16 episodes, it can be expected that the upcoming run would also be that long.

This speculation was supported by Fansided when it stated that "Seasons 2 and 3 were released around early June, so it's pretty safe to assume that this will also around the time we get to consume season 4 in 2016."

Therefore, the site noted that as soon as summer is coming, "we'll be ready to watch more of the quirky adventures of Piper Chapman inside the confines of Litchfield" in "Orange is the New Black" season 4.

In the meantime, two faces were reported to have joined the new season of the Netflix original show.

According to the Deadline, "Under the Dome" actress Jolene Purdy "has booked a recurring role in the upcoming fourth season of Netflix/Lionsgate TV prison drama."

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Reporter dished in November that Matthew Weiner of "Mad Men" was directing an episode of "OITNB's" fourth season.

As 2015 comes to a close, more spoilers about the inmates of Litchfield Penitentiary are expected to be revealed for "Orange is the New Black" season 4.
