Following the focus and release of Diancie and Hoopa, the latest Pokemon CoroCoro leaks has finally confirmed the Water/Fire Volcanion for the franchise.
Various sources have been uploading the latest CoroCoro leaks, and it reveals that not only will the final Generation VI Mythical Pokemon have its own distribution event, but will star in the upcoming 2016 movie (also known as Movie 19).
"Most Generation's movies showcase the third main Legendary (Ryaquaza, Giratina, Kyurem) around the same time that the third game is released," theorized PokeJungle visitor TheNintendoChip.
"Depending on what this Volcanion movie focuses on, we can kind of predict whether the new Generation VI VII game will release around the same time as the movie."
Volcanion has been known to fans since the release of "Omega Ruby" and "Alpha Sapphire." For example, through the work of hacking team "Project Pokemon," we have tidbits of an event discussing television specials regarding the Pokemon.
In addition to what's revealed in Pokemon CoroCoro leaks, there is also a theory connecting Hoopa, Volcanion, and the much discussed Zygarde Formes.
As shown by YouTuber TyranitarTube, Volcanion was revealed to carry the move Thousand Arrows, while Hoopa had the Attack Thousand Waves, both physical Ground-type attacks at 90 attack power, 100% accuracy, with secondary effects.
"Similarly, Zygarde's current signature move, Land's Wrath, is also a physical Ground-type attack with base 90 power and 100% accuracy, but with no secondary effect," said TyranitarTube. "Thousand Arrows and Thousand Waves almost seem like perfected versions of Land's Wrath, and are speculated to be the signature moves of Zygarde's alternate forms."
