BEAST Slated To Represent K-Pop At Annual Weibo Night Ceremony In China Next Month

Cube Entertainment's popular male group BEAST are going to attend an awards ceremony in China this January.

On Friday, Dec. 18, in a statement to TV Report, a representative from CUBE confirmed BEAST's attendance at Weibo Night where they will represent South Korea and K-pop during the year-end ceremony.

Organized by Chinese online media company Sina, the annual event honors the most talked about music, film and TV stars of the year on Weibo, China's largest social networking site.

The ceremony will take place in Beijing, China on January 7, 2016 and will be the first time BEAST will make an appearance at the awards ceremony.

The ceremony will follow a few days after the group wraps up their Asia tour.

BEAST kicked off the tour in Singapore on Sept. 24 at the Suntec Convention Centre Hall and earlier this month played two show in Australia. The tour finishes up on Dec. 26 in Malaysia.
