Tina Fey And Amy Poehler Returns To SNL; 'Sisters' Unfazed With 'Star Wars; The Force Awakens?'

Two of the most recognized "Saturday Night Live" alums are back as duo-hosts. BFFs Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are back to the sketch show that practically catapulted their career and they wasted no time in showing everyone why they are a household name during and after their "SNL" gig.

One of the most memorable parts of the show, according to Jezebal, is the Amy Poehler's reprisal of her Hilary Clinton character. In the sketch, she meets Kate McKinnon' Hilary Clinton where the latter teaches a new term to the "older" Clinton as well as the personality she should portray to become appealing to voters.

According to Rolling Stone, another noteworthy sketch for the night is "Meet Your Second Wife." Without watching the sketch, you would think that it's an awkward sketch where they meet their second wife even though they are still married. But it's actually a lot more than that - instead of a young woman, the married men are shown an embryo, a five year old kid and a twelve year old. It was an awkwardly funny sketch since the current wives of the married men are also in the audience.

Slash Film also highlighted the parody of "Bad Blood" by Taylor Swift with "Dope Squad" from Tina and Amy. Of course, just like Taylor Swift's star studded song, Amy and Tina are also star studded which includes comedian Amy Schumer.

Amy and Tina are hosting "Saturday Night Live" to promote their latest film "Sisters." The film is notable for opening with "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" which currently breaks box office records. But Amy Poehler doesn't really care. In their recent appearance in "Late Night with Seth Myers" Amy Poehler confessed that she really didn't care about "Star Wars."

Even with the box office performance of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" their movie did relatively well. According to LA Times, "Sisters" opened with $13.4 million gross ticket sales with a Cinemascore "B" and 61% rating in Rotten Tomatoes.
