Jessica Jung Returns As A Singer With Cover Of Sarah Bareilles's 'Gravity'

Former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung has returned to the music world with a cover video of "Gravity" by Sarah Bareilles.

The full nine-minute video, released on Dec. 31, is part of a promo campaign for a Chinese fashion magazine GRAZIA and includes both an interview portion with Jessica and the song cover.

In the video, Jessica can be seen preparing for her performance and confidently answering questions about her current situation. She also acted out scenes from her time as a trainee and as a designer.

Jessica talked about the differences between being a singer and a fashion designer during the interview.

"Singers must show their vocal skills on stage in front of an audience," she said. "However, with fashion, most of the work occurs behind the stage. I enjoy that novelty."

She then mentioned her desire and drive to work hard. "Basically, I try to enjoy my work. I enjoyed being a trainee and I enjoy being in the fashion business," she continued. "I want to focus on the things I can do for a long time."

"That's been my dream ever since I was young," Jung added.

As for her cover of "Gravity," Jessica explained, "I put a lot of emotions into the song. I loved and got hurt, so I used both of those emotions in the song."

After the interview portion of the video completed, Jessica belted out a cover of Sarah Bereilles's "Gravity."
