Teen Top's Chunji Hits Musical Stage In Japan With 'Caffeine'

One of South Korea's budding musical actors is taking his talents to the stage overseas.

Teen Top's Chunji (Lee Chan Hee) recently reprised his role as Ji Min in the romantic comedy musical Caffeine, only this time he's entertaining audiences in Japan.

"I starred in the musical last time in South Korea, and this time, I'm starring in the musical in Japan," said Chunji, as reported by Allkpop.

"I'm happy that I get to play the role of Ji Min once again. I'll show an upgraded version of Kang Ji Min and Jung Min."

Caffeine is a romantic comedy about a barista and a sommelier who develop feelings for each other.

The curtains rose up in Roppongi, Japan on Jan. 8.

Chunji made his stage debut in Caffeine in 2014. Following his acclaimed performance, the idol got contacted to play the character Jay in the musical On Air~ Night Flight February of last year in Tokyo, Japan.

The Teen Top members are preparing to make their comeback on Jan. 18 with a new album titled Red Point.
