CNBLUE lead singer Jung Yong Hwa is teaming up with YG Entertainment producer and songstress Sunwoo Junga for an upcoming single.
On Jan. 11, Yong Hwa's entertainment agency FNC Entertainment announced the collaborative single as part of a ballad project according to a report by Korea Herald. Teasers for the track, titled "Empathy" were uploaded onto Yong Hwa's personal social media accounts. From the teasers fans were given a taste of a relaxed and bluesy instrumental, leading to high anticipation for the new single.
Yong Hwa is most known for his work and the leader of CNBLUE. Early in 2015, Yong Hwa released his first solo album One Fine Day which featured a number of renowned artists including American musician and producer Peter Malick, Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin, and Korean artists Verbal Jint and Yoon Do Hyun among others.
Sunwoo Junga is another impressive singer-songwriter to collaborate with Yong Hwa. After her debut in 2006 she has worked on many hit albums by GD&TOP, 2NE1, and Lee Hi as a producer at YG Entertainment. In 2013 she released her second album featuring famous artists like Seo In Young and Korea's "little sister" IU.
