FTIsland Lead Singer Lee Hongki Kicks Off Solo Tour Of Asia

FTIsland's lead vocalist Lee Hongki is ready to kick off his first ever Asian solo tour.

On Sunday, Jan. 10, Hongki finished up his two day concert series in Seoul Korea. Afterwards, he is scheduled to head to Taiwan for a performance at the Taipei International Convention Center on January 17. Then he heads to Shanghai's QSW Culture Center on Jan. 23. His Taiwan and China shows mark the beginning of his regional solo Asia tour.

"I'm not confident with having a solo concert on such a huge stage," Hongki commented about his tour according to Korea Herald. Always thinking about his group, Hongki also added his hopes that touring alone helps contribute to any future music he creates for FTIsland.

Hongki released his first solo album FM 302 this past December, marking his first release as a solo artist nine years after his debut under FNC Entertainment. His title track, "Insensible," won him a number of awards from domestic music shows. Fans can excitedly expect to hear "Insensible" along with a number of other popular tracks from his solo album at his Asia tour including "LOL (Loudness of Love)," "In the Rain," and "Be Your Doll."
