Former EXO member and Chinese singer-actor Kris (Wu Yi Fan) joins the lineup for the 2016 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.
On Jan. 14, the National Basketball Association (NBA) revealed the two captains and their teams for this year's All-Star Celebrity match. With the game being held in Toronto, the theme is Team Canada vs. Team USA. Grammy-award winning artist Drake will take charge of Team Canada against actor and four-time NBA All-Star Celebrity Game champion Kevin Hart.
Kris, who originally hails from Vancouver, Canada and is known for playing basketball prior to his rise to fame as a K-pop star, will join Drake's team. Also on Team Canada are Property Brothers stars Drew and Jonathan Scott, actor Stephen James, professional tennis player Milos Raonic, TV analyst and retired basketball player Rick Fox, Women's NBA player Natalie Achonwa, and seven-time NBA All-Star Tracy McGrady.
They will face off against actors Jason Sudeikis, Michael B. Jordan, Anthony Anderson, and Bryshere "Yazz" Gray, as well as TV personality and performer Nick Cannon, five-time NBA All-Star Chauncey Billups, basketball legend Muggsy Bogues, Women's NBA MVP Elena Delle Donne, and co-owner of the Milwaukee Bucks Marc Lasry.
The game will be held at the Ricoh Coliseum in Toronto and aired live on American sports network ESPN. To catch Kris in action, tune on Friday, February 12 at 7PM EST.
