SHINee Member Lee Taemin Confirms Solo Comeback In February

Nearly a year and a half after his solo debut, SHINee member Lee Taemin is having his comeback, tentatively scheduled for Feb. 2016.

The boy group member is currently preparing his uncoming album for a release in February. According to Korean news outlet XSports News, Taemin recently finished filming the music video in secret and is currently in the final stages of preparing for his comeback.

According to a statement made by SM Entertainment on Jan. 15, "Taemin is currently working on an album. We will reveal the schedule once it is finalized."

According to an insider, the title track was chosen based to maximize the synergy between Taemin's on-stage performance and the song's flow. "Taemin is an artist who excels most when performing live."

Taemin's previous solo track, Danger, nabbed the No. 1 spot on various online music charts and music shows, demonstrating the singer's ability to succeed in solo as well as group activities.

Groupmate Key hinted at Taemin's upcoming solo at the Seoul Music Awards, and now SM Entertainment has confirmed the news as true.

This will be Taemin's first comeback since he made his solo debut in Aug. 2014 with the album, "ACE."

Taemin is not the only SM Entertainment artist to hold a solo comeback this year. Others with individual projects in the works include Super Junior's Ryeowook and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon.
