Woohyun And Dongwoo Reveal They Were Told To Leave INFINITE

Two members of popular K-pop boy band INFINITE revealed this week that they were asked to leave the group.

During the most recent episode of "INFINITE Showtime," a reality show featuring the seven members of INFINITE, Woohyun and Dongwoo opened up about hardships that they went through. The pair admitted that both prior and after debuting with INFINITE, the group's agency asked them to leave the line-up.

While playing a game during Thursday's broadcast, Dongwoo and Woohyun revealed that they had been told to leave the group by Woollim Entertainment.

Dongwoo admitted that Woollim advised him to leave INFINITE even after the group began to gain popularity.

During the segment, leader Sungkyu also said that he considered leaving the group while they were promoting their song, "Nothing's Over."

Member Hoya was chosen by the rest of the group as the member most likely to be advised by Woollim to leave INFINITE, but he denied it and said that he had never been asked to leave INFINITE.

Despite the serious question, INFINITE's members turned the situation into a light-hearted moment and revealed their supportive relationship.

"You survived though," Sungkyu reassured Woohyun and Dongwoo.

INFINITE debuted in 2010 and are popular for their retro-inspired dance hits like "Come Back Agan," "BTD," and "The Chaser."
