Stellar Step Back From Sexy Concepts In Favor Of 'Girlfriend Look' For 'Sting' Music Video

Sultry K-pop girl group Stellar are back with the release of a new music video.

On Sunday, Jan. 17, Stellar's latest music video "Sting" was released on the group's official YouTube channel.

"Sting" is the title track for the group's second EP of the same name that also contains four other brand new songs, "Do You Hear Me," "Insomnia," "Love Spell," and "Cinderella." The EP also included "Vibrato," which was released last summer.

During a press conference on Monday, Jan. 18, the Stellar members revealed the group went for a less sexy concept than what fans are used to seeing from them.

"This time, we wanted to look more like a girlfriend rather than look provocative with heavy makeup," said a member, as reported by K-Pop Herald. "We put lighter makeup, so that more fans will feel closer to us."

Many of those who have watched the video have left positive reviews in the comments section on YouTube.

"Feminine, fragile, sensitive yet powerful. Wonderful," wrote YouTube viewer Areia Creations.

Another person wrote about this song getting Stellar more exposed and recognized.

"The girls look so gorgeous and the song is PERFECT! I hope they finally get the recognition they deserve!," wrote Aerboi98.

Stellar made their debut in 2011 with the release of single titled "Rocket Girl." The group consists Kim Ga Young, Joo Min Hee, Lee Hyo Eun, and Jeon Yul.
