One of Korea's top stars is rubbing elbows with men's fashion elite in Milan.
CNBLUE lead singer and television actor Jung Yong Hwa hopped a plane to Milan, Italy on Sunday to appear at the Gucci Men's Fall/Winter 2016 Collection show this week.
Invited as a special guest of the brand, Yong Hwa served as a representative of Gucci's growing popularity among Koreans and other Asian consumers.
“Along with its expansion in Asian markets, the popularity of CNBLUE made the brand to make the invitation,” said a fashion industry official to the Korea Herald.
Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele set the runway show, comprised of 50 looks, to the soundtrack for the recent Oscar-nominated film "The Revenant" and featured a special jacket dedicated to the late fashion rock icon David Bowie.
In October, Jung Yong Hwa was photographed wearing Gucci for a spread in Harper's Bazaar.
Yong Hwa and Sunwoo Junga released a collaborative EP "Empathy Project" last week.
