Vampire Diaries' Character Stefan Joining 'Latest Dilemma' Crossover Episode on 'The Originals' Season 3
"The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals" crossover will bring Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) together
"Stefan's now with Caroline, and Klaus, of course, has just gone through everything he's gone through with Cami. They actually have a surprisingly civil and honest conversation about love - what it means and the sacrifices that you have to make in the name of it," Executive Producer Julie Plec told TV Line:
"I basically committed to Ian [Somerhalder] and Paul [Wesley] that when they're ready to be done, I'll be done," Plec told TVLine. "They could be ready very soon, or they could really want to stick it out. Right now, that's up to them. I'm with them as long as I feel like I can keep telling stories for them."
Vampire Diaries showrunner Julie Plec told Variety that she would welcome Nina Dobrev back for "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8.
"Yes, I miss her deeply and would take her back in an instant if she called and said, 'Hey, can I come back and play?'" Plec told the trade.
"It just feels good to be able to tell the story about two brothers who are more bonded," Plec said, "and it's just been so fun to write this year. The writers, we're just enjoying the hell out of it."
