Time to add another feather to the cap of Big Bang's "Bang Bang Bang."
The hard-hitting anthem was crowned the most popular song on MelOn, a popular South Korean music chart, in 2015, according to a yearly ranking published by the company on Jan. 26.
R&B and hip-hop artists also dominated the MelOn chart. The second most popular song in 2015 was R&B singer Naul's "You From the Same Time" while the third most popular was Zion.T's "Eat."
Two other Big Bang tracks - "Loser" and "Bae Bae" - reached the top 10 most popular songs in 2015, reports Yonhap.
All three MelOn chart-topping songs were released as part of Big Bang's multi-month comeback last year which then led to a world tour.
Despite a huge comeback in 2015, Big Bang fans are wondering what's coming next for the group, especially with the looming military enlistment for the members.
Big Bang rapper T.O.P said that the group had "only about a year left," during his acceptance speech at the recent Golden Disk Awards where the group won Song of the Year for "Loser."
T.O.P's statement suggests that a Big Bang hiatus could come as early as a year's time, although if the group follows the pattern of other boy groups like Super Junior and space out their enlistment times, the next few years could see more solo releases from Big Bang members instead of group albums.
