f(x) Finally Give Official Name To Their Fan Club

Congratulations, MeU!

At their concert series this weekend, the SM Entertainment girl group f(x) announced their official fandom name. Seven years after the group debuted in 2009, their fans official join the K-pop fandoms with the name "MeU."

Along with the literal understanding of the name meaning "me" and "you," showing f(x)'s love of their fans and vice versa, the term also symbolizes the mathematical term "mu" (µ), relating to the group's name.

The four members of f(x) announced the name at their first solo concert series, "Dimension 4- Docking Station" over this weekend in Seoul. The group performed three shows, from Friday through Sunday, with more than 9,000 fans in attendance.

Following the Seoul stops, f(x) will bring their concert to several Japanese cities.

f(x) debuted in 2009 as a female quintet. Last year, former member Sulli officially departed from the group and the remaining members rebranded themselves as a strong quintet with the well-received album "4 Walls."
