Besides breaking YouTube records, Psy is the first foreign to make an appearance on all three Chinese major broadcasting networks for the special festival.
Having already filmed his appearances, the rapper will be guest starring on special programs for Dragon TV, JSTV and LRTV to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
According to a report by Yonhap News, Psy's LRTV appearance will air on Feb. 6 with a performance of his latest single "Daddy" and his global hit "Gangnam Style," while his JSTV appearance will feature "Gangnam Style" and "Napal Baji" and Dragon TV with "Gangnam Style and "Disc Jockey" on Feb. 8.
In addition to his appearance, Psy is also ringing in the Lunar New Year with a cameo.
Because of his ongoing popularity, the rapper earned himself a surprise cameo in the comedy-action Chinese film From Vegas To Macau 3 slated for release on Feb. 6.
Just last year Psy topped China's QQ chart with the Chinese version of his single "Father," showing that his popularity post-"Gangnam Style" still lingers.
