Singer-actor Lee Seung Gi officially enlisted in the Korean army to fulfill his mandatory duties on Monday, Feb. 1 at a training camp located in Nonsan, South Chungcheong Province.
As members of local media and fans were present to catch a glimpse of the singer's enlistment, Lee reassured fans that he will be careful while fulfilling his mandatory military service.
"I will stay safe," said Lee with a smile and a wave, as reported by K-Pop Herald.
Days prior to his enlistment, Lee released a single titled "I'm Going To The Army" on Jan. 21 expressing his emotions as he enters the military.
Lee Seung Gi is going to serve his country as a soldier until October 31, 2017.
