Block B Announce Preparations For 1st Group Comeback In Over A Year And A Half

After what's felt like forever, K-pop boy group Block B are finally preparing to make a comeback!

On Feb. 5, music industry officials connected to Block B and their agency Seven Seasons revealed that the group is currently working on their new album. According to a report by My Daily, member Zico will be the main force in charge of the album's production while the other members will support him throughout the process.

Block B as a whole have been absent from the Korean music scene since their EP HER released in July 2014. Since then, the members have all pursued individual activities on screen and on stage.

Leader Zico made the most of his time, quickly becoming a recognizable force in the music industry. He appeared on Mnet's rap competition program Show Me The Money 4 as one of the producer judges. From there, he released a number of successful solo tracks and a highly praised album.

Block B's Taeil and Park Kyung also released solo tracks during the last year while members B-Bomb, U-Kwon, and P.O formed the group's first sub-unit BASTARZ.

In addition to the new album, it was also announced that Block B will participate in a new reality program.

When asked about the album, Seven Seasons confirmed that the group members are working towards their comeback. No exact release date is scheduled at this time, however, Block B aim to return sometime in March.
