Wanting to kidnap your favorite K-pop idol is probably a standard joke among any avid fan. Perhaps this is why there's a tendency for every K-pop group to explore the idea of being captured by a love interest as a concept.
It would seem that SHINee's Taemin is following in that vein with the concept for his new solo music video "Press Your Number." Recently, Taemin revealed a teaser for the "Press Your Number" video that features himself being trapped in a bed of blue flowers with rope around his hands. Fans can check out the new teaser below.
So far, fan reactions have been positive for Taemin's "Press Your Number" music video teaser.
"OMG. This MV teaser is really good. I can't wait for the full MV," said Marintan Marpaung on Facebook.
According to Soompi, "Press Your Number" is an urban pop dance track produced by Stereotypes and Bruno Mars. The lyrics were written by Taemin, which marks his debut as a lyricist. There will be three types of music videos for "Press Your Number," including two performance versions and the original cut.
"Press Your Number" is the title track for Taemin's first full length solo album entitled "Press It." The album will include 10 songs. Two medleys of the album will be released, one on Feb. 22 and one on Feb. 23.
"Press It" is Taemin's second solo album after "Ace," which was released in August 2014. The title track for the album, "Danger," topped several music and music video charts and also landed Taemin several wins on music shows.
"Press It" will be released on Feb. 23.
