Later this week, WINNER and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon are set to be the next guest on popular music show "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook."
According to reports, WINNER will perform their title track "Baby Baby" from their new album "Exit: E" and their debut single "Empty." It will be WINNER's first appearance on the show since 2014 where they performed "Empty" and covered fellow YG artist 2NE1's "Missing You."
WINNER is in the middle of promotions for their new mini album "Exit: E," which is the first of four planned releases this year. No release dates have been confirmed for the remaining albums of their 2016 "Exit Movement" project, but it is likely to follow a similar release pattern to Big Bang's "Made" series.
Meanwhile, Girls' Generation's Taeyeon will perform her first solo single "I" and her new single "Rain." There's much anticipation surrounding her performance of "Rain," as Taeyeon has yet to perform the single on any other music shows. This is even more peculiar when you consider that Taeyeon recently won SBS's "Inkigayo" though she did not perform the song on the show.
So far this year, both WINNER and Taeyeon have had much success with their respective releases topping multiple instant music charts on their respective release dates.
WINNER and Taeyeon display very different musical styles, so it is likely that their joint appearance may lead host Yoo Hee Yeol to create a very interesting activity for them to do during the interview portion of the show.
In a recent episode, Yoo made iKON give mock love confessions to Dynamic Duo, so perhaps fans can look forward to a humorous interaction.
The new episode of "Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook" is set to premiere on Feb. 19.
