Assassin's Creed Release Date: Ubisoft may relax the franchise's annual instalments. Assassin's Creed's Publisher Ubisoft will focusing on a "regular" release cycle, according to Gamespot.
The French company revealed last week that the Assassin's Creed will not be seeing a release in 2016 following six consecutive years of games. The announcement comes just a few days after it was confirmed by Ubisoft that a major Assassin's Creed game will not release this year.
"This year, we are stepping back and re-examining the Assassin's Creed franchise. As a result, we've decided that there will not be a new Assassin's Creed game in 2016," Ubisoft wrote on their blog.
"Since the release of Assassin's Creed Unity, we've learned a lot based on your feedback. We've also updated our development processes and recommitted to making Assassin's Creed a premier open-world franchise.
"We're taking this year to evolve the game mechanics and to make sure we're delivering on the promise of Assassin's Creed offering unique and memorable gameplay experiences that make history everyone's playground."
Gamescon recently put out a new video to underscore the dichotomy in the way players approach Assassin's Creed Syndicate's gaming.
Ubisoft says the twin protagonists in "Assassin's Creed Syndicate" are polar opposites, but work together to compensate, and compensate they do.
"We asked ourselves how we could make the story different. They [our fans] want the experience to feel fresh year after year, and this kind of dynamic is not one we have really explored at all in the franchise," Marc-Alexis Cote, the creative director for "Assassin's Creed Syndicate," wrote to the UbiBlog.
"Assassin's Creed: Unity" was released last November.
The new games will take gamers through space and time, to China, India, and Russia. Each of the Assassin's Creed Chronicles games will be availablefor PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
SuperData Research reported that the game earned almost $15 million in digital sales "The Assassin's Creed Syndicate" will include new experiences for players and the ability to freely switch between characters. Ubisoft previous said it was too hard to develop female character models.
