Last week it was announced that the end of "Assassination Classroom" season two would follow the original ending of the manga series that is set for March.
Usually this is good news, after all, just ask any "Tokyo Ghoul" fan how they feel about season two.
Unfortunately, in the case of "Assassination Classroom" season two, some fans are worried that the series will adapt the remaining manga chapters too quickly in order to coincide with the ending of the manga in March.
"This is a questionable decision" said Reverse in an ANN forum. "I fear even more chapters will be cut or some chapters sped up greatly."
Other fans are disappointed in the decision to end the "Assassination Classroom" anime with the manga, only because they had hoped for more episodes in the future.
"That does seem a bit rushed. I think it would make more sense to do a 3rd TV season next year so they have time to develop the last few volumes," said Kadmos1.
"Assassination Classroom" season two was originally reported to be 25 episodes long, so there's at least 18 episodes left to cover the remaining manga chapters. Hopefully for the sake of fans, it will be enough to cover the most interesting chapters.
For those who are not familiar with the "Assassination Classroom" manga series, it is written by Yusei Matsui and has been adapted into two successful TV anime seasons, two live action films, and a 3DS video game.
Viz Media, who is releasing the manga series in North America, describes the story of "Assassination Classroom" as follows.
"A humorous and action-packed story about a class of misfits who are trying to kill their new teacher - an alien octopus with bizarre powers and super strength! The teacher has just destroyed the moon and is threatening to destroy the earth - unless his students can destroy him first. What makes things more complicated is that he's the best teacher they've ever had!"
