It's been seven years since the release of the Girls' Generation's popular single "Gee," and now two of K-pop's hottest new girl groups are paying homage to the 2009 hit with a collaboration.
According to Korea Herald, GFriend and TWICE came together this past Sunday to pre-record their performance for the March 13 broadcast of SBS's Sunday music show, Inkigayo.
In a tweet from TWICE's official Twitter on Sunday, Mar. 6, both groups are seen huddled together for a photo while dressed in the signature colored skinny jeans just like the ones seen in the Girls' Generation music video.
"Members of Twice and GFriend got together for Girls' Generation's 'Gee.' Gee gee gee gee," said the tweet.
