On Saturday, Mar. 19, artists Roy Kim, Megan Lee, Dumbfoundead and Sung Lee will close out the two-day 27th Annual Korean American Students Conference (KASCON 27) with a concert at The Town Hall in New York City.
Ranging from acoustic folk to pop and hip-hop, all four performers will showcase their talents for one night only to celebrate young Korean and Korean-American students and their student organizations.
While the conference is only open to college students, the KASCON 27 concert is open to the public. Tickets selling for $50 USD only, fans can watch all four performers on the stage.
To get a hand on the $50 tickets, attendees must purchase tickets on EventBrite and make sure to select "CONCERT ONLY."
According to the press release, organized by a group of NYU undergrads, KASCON 27 will host some of the the world's most influential Koreans and Korean Americans working in a variety of fields to expand the potential of next-generation Korean-Americans. With a global focus, the conference seeks to connect students with industry leaders through keynote speeches, seminars, and networking events.
Kicking off on March 18 and into the 19, the conference's guestlist includes UCLA professor and world-renowned robot scientist Dennis Hong, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the United Nations Joon Oh, Elsevier chairman Y.S. Chi, healthcare startup Noom founder/CEO Saeju Jeong, ABC "Nightline" news anchor Juju Chang, 2018 PyeongChang Olympics Bid Committee Communications Director Theresa Rah, and Kenzo Co-Creative Director Carol Lim.
