Stars Hollow will once again continue the tale of the two sisters since Netflix has announced the return of "Gilmore Girls."
Fans of the popular TV series have been waiting for Rory and Lorelei to continue their tale and fortunately, Netflix has made it possible and they should be coming out soon. As of this writing, the premiere is still unconfirmed but based on the information gathered from various sources, the series should be returning sooner than many expect.
According to TV.com, the upcoming return of Rory and Lorelei is composed of four episodes and titled after the season. "Each episode will be 90-minutes long and will correspond to a specific season so that the entire revival will take place over one calendar year. The first episode is titled "Winter" and will be followed by spring, summer, and fall, just like Carole King sang."
The setting of the upcoming episode will be the present time. According to Celebuzz, "Since we last saw the group at Rory's graduation from Yale in 2007, that means the first episode will be taking place roughly eight years later." The first episode, "Winter" will first deal with the death of their father and it will chronicle how the family copes with the loss.
Now here's a very interesting tidbit about the upcoming episodes: Today reports of an instagram user snapping a photo of a prop for the upcoming series revival, "Instagram user Jordan McKamie posted a photo Sunday that has sparked some major questions about possible plot lines in the upcoming 'Gilmore Girls' Netflix revival."
The photo comes with the set name "wedding" and it immediately sparked rumors about the possible plot. One of the two sisters might be getting married in the upcoming season! With most of the characters returning (although fans will surely miss Melissa McCarthy), one of the characters settling in Stars Hollow is a big possibility.
