JYP has officially apologized for the controversy caused by Tzuyu's outfit during an onstage performance.
On the March 13 episode of live music show "Inkigayo," Twice performed a rendition of Girls' Generation's hit song "Gee" with girl group GFriend. However, viewers of the program noticed that Tzuyu was wearing a shirt with the phrase "Hoes take off your clothes" written on it.
On March 15, JYP Entertainment released an official statement apologizing for the mishap.
"We did not notice the words on her clothing. We are very sorry for worrying her fans," the agency stated. "In the future, we will be more careful in which clothing we select. Once again, we apologize."
Just a few months ago, Tzuyu was the subject of another controversy, but this time most of the online commenters on the original Korean article appear to be on her side. The majority of the top-rated comments mention that it was the fault of JYP's clothing coordinator, rather than Tzuyu herself.
