Taeyeon To Return With Full Solo Album With Solo Concert In The Works

Girls' Generation's beloved leader Taeyeon has nearly finished preparations for her solo comeback.

On Friday, Mar. 18, SM Entertainment informed Korean media site MyDaily about Taeyeon's upcoming comeback.

"We are currently in the process of planning her solo album and a solo concert," the agency said to the media outlet. "We will announce it as soon as the schedule is finalized."

In addition, Taeyeon will be holding a solo concert series to feature songs off her new album. Although the album release date is still being decided, Korean media outlet Sports Donga has reported that the concert will take place from April 23-24 in Seoul.

The concert will be part of SM Entertainment's concert series brand "The Agit."

Taeyeon has been releasing music with a gap of roughly two months between releases. She held her solo debut in October, followed by a TaeTiSeo comeback in December. After that, she had a digital single titled "Rain" released in February.

Her next solo album, if released in April as expected, will continue the trend of two months between releases.
