Cube Entertainment has stepped in to clear all confusion over BEAST member Hyunseung.
On Mar. 21, it was announced that Hyunseung would not be at a BEAST fan meeting scheduled for April in Taipei, Taiwan. According to My Daily, the meeting organizers announced sadly that after communications with Korea only five members of Beast would be in attendance and asked fans to continue to support BEAST even without Hyunseung at the event.
Afterwards, Korean outlet Kukinews made a surprising claim that Beast had already prepared outfits, choreography, and song arrangements without Hyunseung. It further asserted that rumors of Hyunseung's departure from the group have been floating around the music industry for the past year.
However, Cube Entertainment themselves have come forward to refute all rumors around Hyunseung. "The statements of Hyunseung's withdraw are unfounded," Cube Entertainment announced officially according to MBN Star. Furthermore, Cube announced that Hyunseung would also be in attendance at the fan meeting in Taiwan and all other group activities.
Cube Entertainment had to refute similar rumors back in September 2015. Hyunseung has come under fire recently for his alleged rude and neglectful behavior as an idol. Fans have claimed that he avoided group activities in order to meet friends and that his attitude while working has seemed aloof and uninterested.
Meanwhile, BEAST continues to release music under their self-managed label in Japan as six members. Furthermore, the group attended the 2015 Weibo Awards this past January.
