Lee Hi Sheds Shy Girl Image On 'Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook'

Lee Hi seems to be leaving behind her shy girl days.

K-Pop fans will remember Lee Hi's debut days when she would be a bit awkward on stage, which many attributed to her youth and inexperience. But you would not guess it basing on her powerful performance of '1, 2, 3, 4" on the most recent episode of Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook.

Lee Hi brings to life one of her first songs, which was released back in 2013, but with a lot more emotion and stage presence, according to fan observations. Some attributed the change to her training in YG Entertainment, home to a lot of top K-Pop acts, which she joined after becoming the runner-up in the K-pop Star Season 1 talent show.

"Woah... she's changed a lot. And I mean confident," "Dear YG: Lee Hi is ready to slay, give her a concert now," and "OMG! This is like Lee Hi version 2.0. She became more confident, charismatic, got that sass, and she even has that YG swag now! I'm so proud of our YG princess! You go girl," said some of the top-rated YouTube comments on the recorded performance.

Lee Hi also sang "Breathe" on Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook, one of the songs she is promoting right now and has won her at least a couple of music show awards already.

What do you think of Lee Hi's newfound confidence and performing skill?
