Headlining for the Toronto K-Pop Convention, JYP Entertainment's globally beloved idol group, GOT7, took to the stage of the John Bassett Theatre, on both Saturday and Sunday night.
Performing 2 sold-out shows, the 7-member group stole the hearts of everyone in attendance with their solid performances and many charms.
Opening the evening, GOT7 took the stage by storm with their ever-popular debut track, "Girls, Girls, Girls," which was followed up by their equally popular, "Stop, Stop It" and "If You Do."
Taking a moment to introduce themselves, GOT7 then went on to answer a few questions asked by the evening's MC. It was during this time that the members of the group go to express their gratitude to fans for loving and supporting them, despite the physical distance between them.
From there GOT7 moved into a second set of songs which included the 2 most popular tracks from the group's most recent comeback: "Fly" and "Home Run."
Fan interaction is always the highlight of every fanmeet and GOT7 didn't disappoint. On Saturday 7 lucky audience members were randomly selected to join the group on-stage for a hilarious game of charades. On Sunday 7 more lucky fans were randomly selected to join the group in a set-counting came, during which both one member of the group and one fan would be given a pedometer and 1 minute in which to get as many steps counted as possible. Each night the winning fan was awarded a signed album and a hug from the group.
On Saturday night, a surprise birthday event was held for BamBam, during with the auditorium was flooded with banners wishing the idol all the best on his birthday.
As their time with their beloved iGOT7s came to a close, each member of the group took a moment to thank fans for their love and support. Naturally, promises to return to Canada in the future were made, to which the fans response was overwhelmingly enthusiastic.
A final 3-song set that included the adorable "Confession Song," the feel-good tune, "Just Right" and "A," brought the evening to a close. With faces illuminated by smiles, GOT7 bid their fans a final farewell, leaving them with a million happy memories that are sure to last a lifetime.
