YG Retracts Plans For A Second Girl Group

YG Entertainment recently announced the debut of a sister group to their upcoming girl group, Black Pink, but those plans have been retracted.

While the members of the first group, called Black Pink, were slowly being revealed over the past month on YG Entertainment's official website, the company initially announced that they would be debuting a second girl group after Black Pink with trainees from the agency.

However, according to a representative at YG Entertainment in a statement made on June 30, "we have around 50 trainees in our agency, so we are still deciding whether to add more members to Black Pink or debut some of them as a separate group."

Meanwhile, Black Pink is filming three music videos for their debut in order to debut by the end of July.
