Miss Asia USA Ashley Park Talks About Her Future With Psychic Writers; Miss Korea USA Is A ‘Pleasure-Bot’ in Upcoming Sci Fi Flick

Miss Asia USA Ashley Park is transitioning into film. Last year's Miss Korea USA 2014-2015 is preparing for the release of two new major movies, "Terror Tales," a horror movie in the tradition of "Creepshow," and "Rogue Warrior : Robot Fighter." Johnson's film fixes on the overthrow of humanity by Artificial Intelligence and the determined rebel, Sienna (Birdsall) who goes up against the droid empire. Ashley plays a 'pleasure bot' in the Neil Johnson directed science fiction film.

The reigning Miss Asia USA gave an exclusive interview to Entertainment 2morrow about her move into horror and science fiction genre films.

"I'd definitely have to say a vampire," Ashley told Entertainment 2morrow. "I feel like we are talking about Twilight, and I think I was always Team Edward, so definitely a vampire. I also absolutely adore the show True Blood, so I certainly did jump on the vampire train."

Since taking the crown last year, 'Miss Asia USA' Ashley Park has become a hot commodity in the film and TV game.

Park told Entertainment 2morrow that she doesn't think movie producers take her less seriously because of her pageant experience.

"Not at all," she told Entertainment 2morrow . "I saw the pageant as an opportunity to grow and transform as both a performer and a person. Preparing for the pageant and competing on stage taught me so much about myself, and I am very grateful that I will be able to carry what I learned with me for the rest of my life."

She told Entertainment 2morrow says that she never felt in danger of being professionally objectified, even after making All American Bikini Car Wash.

"All American Bikini Car Wash was actually my first real feature film, so it was such a great learning experience for me," Park told Entertainment 2morrow . "The cast and crew were so much fun to work with, and I am still good friends with quite a few people from that set. In fact, two of my co-stars, JR Ritcherson and Dora Pereli, came out to support me at the pageant, along with our director and producer, Nimrod Zalmanowitz. It was definitely a different atmosphere, but I never felt as though I was being objectified. My character Brittany was intended to be the voice of reason throughout the film, so I took that on and just had fun with it."

Park, already familiar to TV viewers for her work on Days of Our Lives , has worked with such actors as Sally Kirkland, Peter Bogdanovich, Lin Shaye, Felissa Rose and William Kircher over the past twelve months.

Producers have been snapping her up for roles in such upcoming films as Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, Grad Daze, Los Angeles Overnight and Terror Tales. In addition, she was recently signed to headline the upcoming horror pic Trapdoor.

native of Little Rock, AR, Ashley Park lives in Los Angeles. She is the current Miss Asia USA 2016, and was this year's Miss Korea USA 2015 in the Miss Asia USA Cultural Pageant. Ashley entered the world of athletics at a young age, and was a competitive athlete for many years. As an award-winning swimmer and nine-time state champion in cross-country and track, training was her top priority. She went on to compete as a Division 1 athlete for one of the top long-distance running schools in the country, and focused on journalism and Spanish as an All-SEC Academic Athlete.

Having wanted to be an actress since childhood, Ashley transitioned into another competitive environment soon after graduating, waltzing off to the bright lights of Hollywood. Now a working actress in Los Angeles, she is focused on film and television. After a brief stint on the soap opera Days of our Lives, Ashley has been fortunate enough to star in several feature films. Never one to back down from a challenge, Ashley aspires to make her mark on the world of indie filmmaking as an actress, writer, producer and host.
