‘Something About 1%’ ends successfully, viewers are happy with ending

The remake of “Something About 1%” drama has wrapped its final episode with success, as it has gained a lot of attention from domestic and international viewers.

The drama is produced by iHQ Entertainment and aired on cable channel Dramax, its subsidiary company. “Something About 1%” also aired in Korea through the Oksusu mobile app. The 16-episode drama has ended successfully with marriage of Dada and Jae-In.

According to Seoul Daily News, the drama has given its viewers a heartwarming feeling. In the final episode, Jae-In introduce Da-Hyun to his grandfather. Upon meeting the grandfather, Da-Hyun, which has a petname Dada, did not recognized the grandfather.

Subsequently the grandfather, Lee Kyoo-Chul handed her the hospital bill and a KRW 10,000 (USD 100) banknote. After she was looking at the hospital bill, Dada remembered him as the old man she saw in the backyard of her school.

The grandfather was on his way to his wife’s grave, but he suddenly collapsed. Dada found him and took him to the hospital. She stayed by him until he recovered and paid all his hospital bill.

After he was discharged from the hospital, Dada gave him KRW 10,000 and pay his taxi to take the old man to the nearby train station. She didn’t know the old man she was helping - who she thought was just a poor old man, is the chaebol owner of SH Conglomerate Group. The grandfather told her that he owed his life to her and he will pay her back.

Seeing that his grandson, Jae-In, has a strong determination to marry her, grandfather Lee is very happy. It is because he knows that Dada is the only one that can change Jae-In’s arrogant behavior. He is right

“Something About 1%” has become the darling of Korean viewers due to its sweet romance, according to News1. It has also captivated international viewers, especially fans of Ha Seok-Jin, who wants to see him again after “Drinking Solo.”
