21st Asian Television Awards: Amber of F(x), Charli XCX, Dato’ Rossa, Ivy Grace Paredes, JJ Lin perform on same stage

There was a huge buzz online about the mystery K-pop act who will perform at the 21st Asian Television Awards this year. After many speculations, on the same night that Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) 2016 was held, it was Amber of F(x) group visited Singapore for the 21st Asian Television Awards (ATA).

Asian TV Awards which were held at Suntec City, Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Center on Friday, December 2. The award night was hosted by Adrian Pang, Stephanie Carrington, Alden Richards and Baki Zainal. ATA launched in 1996; it is Asian TV industry's most significant and celebrated event recognizing excellence in programming, production, and performance.

The award show was aired in 15 different Asian countries which includes Channel 5, from Singapore's local broadcasting station, Mediacorp.

There were 40 awards presented that night. Winners list include Descendents of the Sun from Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) for Best Drama Series and Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) from CJ E&M for the best entertainment program.

There were artists like Charli XCX, Dato'Rossa, Ivy Grace Paredes, JJ Lin and Amber from various countries like United Kingdom, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and Korea performing on the same stage.

Amber came out and performed 2 songs, Shake That Brass and Borders. In between her performance she was also indulged with the audience and greeted the guests too. While she introduced herself, her fans could not contain the excitement and cheered loudly which made her say "Guys, you're so awesome" and the cheers became louder.

Amber Josephine Liu known as Amber is an American rapper and singer who is currently active in South Korea and a member of Korean Girl group f(x) formed by S.M. Entertainments in 2009.

Amber had a live twitter session with the fans and viewers of ATA after the award show.
