Idol Group Seventeen Will Hold First Fan Meeting in February

One of the hottest boy group Seventeen has announced the fan meeting in February. Recently, they are reported to donate money to the earthquake victims. However there is no official annnouncement from the group or their management agency.

Seventeen is one of the hottest boy group in Korea nowadays. They are also one of the idol group with the most members, consists of 13 boys. Recently they are reported to have donates some money for earthquake victims in Kumamoto, Japan. However, there is no official statement from either the group or the agency Pledis Entertainment.

According to the official announcement from the group, they will hold their first fan meeting for their fans in February. The announcement was just released this Tuesday, Jan.10, complete with the registration schedule and other details.

Member of their fans club, CARAT is able to book the tickets early from Friday Jan. 13 to 15. Afterward the tickets will be sold to general public starting from Jan. 16. The organizer will deliver the ticket on Jan. 19. Ticket is sold at the price 30,000 won ($25) to 50,000 won ($42).

The group was founded officially in 2015 after two years preparation which was aired in the live broadcast program Seventeen TV through streaming service UStream. During the two years preparation, Pledis Entertainment has developed enough fan base until the official debut.

They debuted on May 26, 2016 in an hour live broadcast on MBC. This is the first time for a male K-Pop idol group to make a career debut in a full-show. The show is a culmination of the reality TV program on MBC titled “Seventeen Project: Big Debut Plan.”

Currently, they have released one album “Love and Letter” and three EPs. Their latest EP “Going Seventeen” which was released Dec. 5, 2016 has topped the Gaon chart for December 2016 according to Seoul Daily News. The album has been sold for 223,971 copies based on the recorded data.
