CLC Comes Smashing Back With 'Hobgoblin' MV

CLC is finally back! The seven-member girl group is back after some time and they are back with a different concept.

CLC has released the music video for "Hobgoblin" and it is totally different from their previous releases. According to Allkpop, the beginning of 'Hobgoblin' has words from Korea's folktale story of the same name where the hobgoblin chants magical phrases like, "Come out gold, come out silver..."

The song is really something new for CLC. The song is an EDM trap with a very catchy tune and beats. It has some slow parts in it and it showcases the members' voices. Also, Yeeun's rapping reminds many people of Hyuna's.

The overall concept is something they have not tried before. Daily Kpop News said that the choreography is strong, their outfits are unique and some are very sexy. Their hairstyles are also out of this world. Some members has a horn for her hair. The members also look chic and bad-ass as they carry a bat with spikes sticking out just like the creature is depicted in the actual folktale.

Before the release of the music video, CLC had a live V app where they talked about "Hobgoblin" and its making process. The girls mentioned how they received a lot of help from fellow Cube artist and mentor HyunA. They also said how grateful they are to her.

The girls introduced their title song, "We are female hobgoblins. It is an EDM trap dance song where we magically entice love ones. It's a song where you unconsciously sway your body and sing along to the beat. It contains easy-to-follow lyrics and a catchy melody." It was Hyuna who was behind the new image of CLC. Hyuna also wrote the song and helped with the choreography of the song.

CLC fans loves CLC's new concept. "This concept really suits them. I love the song. I love their outfits. I love the vibe. This is coming from a blackjack that misses black/badass concept. I'm here to support CLC and can someone tell me their names?" Watch the music video of "Hobgoblin" below.
