Kim Seul Gi To Appear In Last Episode of 'Legend Of The Blue Sea'

Actress Kim Seul Gi is set to appear in a cameo role for the last episode of "The Legend of the Blue Sea", which will air on January 25. She joins the roster of several actors such as Jo Jung Suk, Ahn Jae Hong, Krystal, and Cha Tae Hyun who have all appeared in the hit SBS fantasy-romance series.

Soompi reports that Kim Seul Gi has already finished filming her part, and although there are no further details about the character she will be playing, the site does say that she will be playing someone who will bring laughter to the finale.

"The Legend of the Blue Sea" features top Hallyu stars Lee Min-ho and Jun Ji-hyun as star-crossed lovers. While most of the conflicts in the drama have been resolved, there is still the question of how Jun Ji-hyun's mermaid character Shim Cheong will survive living on land.

The actress was also seen in a cameo role in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo." She played a worker in a supermarket who had a cure romantic moment with Bok Joo's uncle Dae Ho, played by Kang Ki-young. Her cameo reunited her with not just Kang Ki-young but also the show's writer Yang Seung-hee.

She has worked with both in tvN's romantic comedy series "Oh My Ghostess", where she herself was one of the main characters. She played a virgin ghost who thinks that her unfinished business is losing her virginity. She then possesses the body of Park Bo-young in order to seduce chef Jo Jung Suk.

Kim Seul Gi will next be seen in the drama "Queen of the Ring," along with Ahn Hyo-seop. She will be playing a mean girl who comes into the possession of a magical ring which makes Ahn Hyo-seop's character fall in love with her. The drama is a part of a three-color drama trilogy by MBC and Naver.
