"Goblin" broke a record when it ended last Saturday. The drama, which starred Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, and Lee Dong Wook, has beaten the viewership record set by "Reply 1988." Its last episode boasts a 20.5 percent rating compared to "Reply 1988" which had 19.6 percent. This is the highest rating received by a series shown on cable tv.
Meanwhile, the staff members of the series received a very unique, albeit weird gift as a memento when "Goblin" ended. The memento is actually closely related to one of the main characters of the series, Wang Yeo or Reaper.
In the drama, a Grim Reaper receives what is called a death report, which states the name of a person who is about to die. This is the very thing that the staff of tvN's "Goblin" received at the end of the show. They got their very own death reports, where their names and age are written, as reported by Koreaboo. Yoo Hyung Joo, one of those who received the report, even posted a photo on his Instagram page. It was hilariously captioned with "I got a death report with my name and age on it...should I be happy?"
Meanwhile, Soompi reports that the people behind "Goblin" have just released more behind the scenes photos for the fans of the show. It shows more candid moments between all the main characters in the drama, such as Lee Dong Wook, Yoo In Na, Gong Yoo, Kim Go Eun, and Yook Sungjae. But this is not the only thing that fans should look forward to.
It seems that there will be additional special episodes of "Goblin" that will air. It will feature behind the scenes footage again, along with special interviews with the cast and crew of the much-loved series. As "Goblin" ends, it will be replaced by the series "Tomorrow, With You", which will star Shin Min Ah and Lee Je Hoon.
