2NE1's Dara: 'I AM DONE CRYING'

Former 2NE1 member Sandara Park seemed to have finally accepted their group's disbandment after 7 successful years together, as she talks her heart out in a recent interview on the JTBC show "Talking Street." As expected, the main subject of her guest appearance on the show was geared towards 2NE1's disbandment and how she had handled the news.

One of the hosts of the show, Haha, admitted to have been a fan of 2NE1 and that he was truly saddened when news of the group's disbandment first broke out, while fellow host Yoo Hee Yeol remarked as to how sad Sandara must have felt to which the idol acknowledged with an honest answer.

"Yes, the news came as very shocking to me and while I may have now accepted that fact to a certain degree, but before that, I was so in denial that I became depressed." Park admitted during the show, Soompi reported.

The subject then drifted towards her relationship with her fellow 2NE1 members now that their group has disbanded. She shared how she is still close with her former group mates and in fact, they were the ones she had first contacted and found comfort in after she had learned of their disbandment. She confessed that they still meet up with each other often and eat together.

Afterwards, they talked about 2NE1's final song, which was titled "Goodbye," wherein Seo Jang Hoon commented how Park looked teary eyed. However, Allkpop reported that she countered the entertainer saying, "I am now okay and I'm done crying."

2NE1's disbandment was truly a sad news for everyone, especially since the popular group had become one of the pillars of k-pop in their seven years together. Sadly, though, they still succumbed to the seven year curse that had plagued several k-pop groups over the years. Dara, Minzy, CL and Bom had all expressed their sadness over their group's disbandment which fans are able to see through their various SNS.
