BTS has been in an issue as VIP, Bigbang's fans club accused them to do plagiarism at their performance in Gaon. The performance was accused to be similar to T.O.P's "No Signal." Recently, Gaon said apology officially regarding the matter.
BTS was performing "Save Me" and "Blood, Sweat and Tears" on "6th Gaon Chart Kpop Awards." There was the screen on no signal when they were performing. As it was similar to T.O.P's performance "No Signal," VIP demanded BTS to apology.
Responding to this, Big Hit Entertainment stated that they had nothing to do with the performance as the preparation was made by Gaon. Meanwhile, the issue has been spread and many fans were mad. According to AllKpop, Gaon finally stated their apology officially and admitted the staff failed to check through used video footage. They asked for apology to everyone negatively affected by it.
VIP should leave the accusation to BTS as they have nothing to do with it. But it can be a great lesson for Gaon to check thoroughly before putting certain concept. As for BTS, they will have their performance as powerful as always with their 7 members.
BTS has just released their new song "Not Today" on YouTube together with TWICE with their song "Knock Knock." Going head to head to get most views, BTS has gained more recognition by winning the first spot at "M!Countdown" for "Spring Day." It was a great gift for their comeback performance.
According to Soompi, BTS was performing two songs "Spring Day" and "Not Today" at the show which was aired on Feb. 23. Winning the first place, they thanked ARMY, BTS's fans club, who gave full support. They also promised to work harder in the future.
BTS plan will be performing at more music shows as part of their promotion. Their performance will always be waited as they show powerful dancing and singing on stage.
