Lee Jong Suk To Begin Shooting For Supernatural Drama 'While You Were Sleeping'

Fans who missed Lee Jong Suk after his epic performance of webtoon character come to life Kang Chul in "W: Two World" will have the opportunity to see him again on a weekly basis as he is set to take the lead in another drama. This time, he is going to star opposite Miss A's Suzy Bae for the supernatural drama "While You Were Sleeping."

According to a report by Soompi, Lee Jong Suk will play the role of a prosecutor who struggles to prevent crimes from happening with the help of a woman (Suzy Bae) who has the ability to see these unfortunate events before they happen. The drama is produced by SBS.

The report cited a source who tipped that production has begun for the drama but Lee Jong Suk is not scheduled to shoot until March 2. The show will also be a reunion of sorts for Lee Jong Suk and writer Park Hye Run who was also behind the dramas "I Can Hear Your Voice" and "Pinocchio" which challenged Jong Suk's acting skills and helped him prove himself as a talented and marketable leading man.

There has been no news on when Lee Jong Suk's co-star Suzy Bae is scheduled to start shooting. Is the singer currently busy working on her music for her solo album "Yes? No?" which has already received positive feedback from her first MV, Kpopstarz reported.

Suzy Bae also released a much-anticipated collaboration with Park Won set entitled "Don't Wait For Your Love" on February 28. Fans were expecting a lot from the collaboration given the talent of the two singers. Park Won is well known for lending his voice to popular Korean drama OST tracks. Could it mean that the new song could be included in the "While You Were Sleeping" soundtrack as well?
