EXO’s Lay Urges Fans To Calm Down Following Luhan’s New Track About Sasaengs ‘Roleplay’

Former EXO's member, Luhan, recently dropped a new track "Roleplay" that was aimed to slam his hardcore fans or are known as Sasaengs in Korean. Regarding the new track targeting Sasaengs, Luhan's former teammate at EXO, Lay, urges both fans and idol to calm down.

According to Soompi, Lay participated in an event that was held on February 28. During that event, the EXO member was asked about his opinion on Luhan's new track "Roleplay". "I really don't know what happened but I think everyone should understand one another. I know everyone is having a hard time, and people on both sides should hold back a little and calm down," said EXO's Lay. Luhan wrote the lyrics of "Roleplay" by himself and he wrote the song intentionally to criticize Sasaengs.

Luhan wrote the following lyrics: "I have to wear helmets because of the gaze that follows me anywhere I go. Don't touch me! You chased me day and night, you're insane. Don't come to my house's parking lot anymore, if I see you again, I won't forgive you." Through the harsh lyrics he put into "Roleplay", Luhan wants to warn fans who've been invading his personal life to back off.

As per ASZ News, Luhan has been very critical about fans' inconsiderate behaviors towards their biases. The former EXO member even posted his worrisome on Twitter alongside the photo of his fans, proving their behaviors have gone over the top.

The 26-year-old singer made his debut in the music industry with EXO in 2011. However, in 2014 Luhan filed a lawsuit against his former agency, SM Entertainment, to terminate his contract.

Luhan's departure left fans wondering what the reasons behind it. Some sources claimed that Luhan wanted to go back to China. Another source added that Luhan got depressed for agency's strict policy that didn't allow him to go home even during his breaks.
