CNBLUE's "7℃N" have conquered iTunes charts in globally! They are now the second boy group next to GOT7 to achieve such achievement.
All Kpop reports that CNBLUE's "7℃N" have topped iTunes charts in Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and Vietnam in Tuesday, March 20 -a day after the release of the album. "7℃N" has also made its way in Russia.
"7℃N" also reached Europe, ranking No. 2 in England. CNBLUE's latest album also ranked No. 2 in the Philippines, Australia, and Chile. Meanwhile, the album ranked No. 3 in the United States.
CNBLUE's "7℃N" is the boy band's 7th mini album. The band's previous album "Blueming" was released almost a year ago in April.
"7℃N" contains six tracks, including "It's You," "Calling You," "When I Was Young," "Manito," and "Royal Rumble." CNBLUE's title track for the album is titled "Between Us" with its music video released on the same day as the album.
The title track "Between Us" was written by CNBLUE's lead voacals Jung Yonghwa. The song describes a man and woman who are just starting in a seriously committed relationship.
"It's very pop-like and I enjoyed the process (of writing the song)...,"said vocalist Jung during a V Live broadcast. "There are parts where I am impressed by myself."
In other news, CNBLUE and other notable K-pop icons was recently in Manila, Philippines to promote Korean culture and ultimately, peace, at the One K Global Peace concert. The event happened earlier this month on March 2 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, reports Hello Kpop.
CNBLUE performed their hits "Can't Stop, You're So Fine" and "Cinderella" during the event. Leader Jung was very cheesy and said to the fans "Manila, you are so sweet like vanilla".
Aside from CNBLUE, K-pop idols like B.A.P, B1A4, BTOB, and AOA were also at the event to promote peace and unity. The world-famous Psy (Gangnam Style) was also at the event.
