Kangnam is the oldest member of former group M.I.B but he is more known for his activities in many variety shows. When he did a photo shoot with InStyle, he said his plan to release a solo album as his group was disbanded in January 2017.
Kangnam has been known for his great talents in variety shows. He is so entertaining and he is also good with his speaking even though he is from Japan. During the photo shoot with InStyle, he said that he planned to release a solo album with a genre closer to rock. He said that he liked both hip hop and rock and that he wanted to showcase more of his style in this album, reported AllKpop.
Kangnam did really well during the photo shoot with InStyle. He was doing Hawaii-themed pictorial to show his bright side. In one picture, he was sitting on a bed tapping a white dog. In another picture, he was playing ukulele wearing a bright blue shirt and dark blue pants. Even though he is already 30 years old, but he looks younger than his age in the picture.
When Kangnam was asked about his role model, he said that he liked Jamie Fox because he was really talented in both music and speech. Revealing his plan to release an album this year, during an interview, he also said his wish to have more role offers in dramas and movies.
It was so sad that M.I.B disbanded in January. Kangnam once stated the reason behind the disbandment. When he was the guest for SBS Power FM's "2 O'Clock Escape Cultwo Show," which was aired on Jan. 24, he said that the group was in a lot of debt and thus needed to be disbanded, reported Soompi.
It is not a surprise that many groups in Korea debut with a debt. But the agencies and the artists always try their best in order to gain profit. Even though many groups have made into their success and gained profit, but many also fail. If thus, then the group might need to be disbanded to reduce the debt. It happens with Kangnam's group M.I.B. As he wanted to go solo, his fans are happy and root for his success.
