Recent reports have just confirmed that Girls' Generation's Seohyun will be taking up a lead role in an upcoming MBC weekend drama entitled, "Thief, Thief". Aside from her, the rest of the lead roles and crew have also been confirmed. And with it, it has officially been announced that the filming of the upcoming drama series will start really soon.
According to Soompi, there will be four main actors and actresses in "Thief, Thief", which includes Seohyun, Kim Ji Hoon, Ji Hyun Woo and Im Joo Eun. Just last March 27, the production company also confirmed that these four actors and actresses will indeed play the drama's respective characters.
The company also says that casting will soon be completed, and that its filming will start by the later portions of March. The story line of the drama series revolves around the lives of the thieves and how they make a living by using their skills to attack and steal valuable objects and properties owned by the elite citizens of Korea.
The character of Jang Dol Mok will be played by Ji Hyun Woo. Reports say that his character is good looking, has good communication skills, and is athletically strong.
Furthermore, the character is known as a messenger in the day, and then becomes a thief during night time. Meanwhile, Seohyun will be taking the character of Kang So Ju, a passionate police detective who does the best of what she can to catch the people behind the attacks and stealing.
Kim Ji Hoon will then play the character of Jan Joon Hee who is a reputable prosecutor. Despite him coming from a poor family, he still managed to make a life for himself. "Thief, Thief" will premiere its first episode in May, right after "Father, I'll Take Care of You" ends.
