Know More About CoCo, The First African-American K-Pop Duo

It has recently been reported that the very first African American K-pop female duo is preparing for the release of their first digital single. To add to the hype, the said single will be in Korean.

And because of this, it truly is a very big milestone for the girls, as they have now achieved worldwide fame even though their first single hasn't been released yet. Now, almost all individuals in the entertainment industry are now referring to them as the first ever African American K-pop group.

According to Koogle, the title of the duo's first single is entitled as "Eottae". It translates to "How's This". Reports have it that Korean producer, AJK, has assisted in the writing of the song.

The song has just been released last April 9, and up until now, it is continuously proving that them being the very first African American duo is what the people wants to see and hear. As soon as it was released, it was positively received by people, where some even compare it to Ciara's "Body Party".

"Eottae" features a very smooth tune to its melody thanks to the groovy and relaxing R&B flows that it has. Now, it is gaining more and more popularity as many producers are already commending CoCo for their milestone of breaking the barrier and borders of what it is to be K-pop.

Originally, CoCo Avenue first made its way into popularity through YouTube. They had 6 members back then. After two years, Jenny (Lyric) and Jenna (Rose" then transferred to Los Angeles to pursue their dreams of achieving worldwide fame by incorporating K-pop to their music.

Surely, they had what they wanted years back as they had truly achieved worldwide fame, as well as brought a new opportunity for many people to embrace K-pop music.
