Park Bo Young Opens Up About Social Isolation She Suffered In High School

Park Bo Young has transformed into one of the most prominent actresses in the industry. However, the life of Park Bo Young may not be always easy and full of compliments. "Oh My Ghostess" actress recently revealed that she was once bullied in high school.

On April 22, Park Bo Young sat down for an interview. During the interview, she opened up about the dark experience of her adolescence period that sort of shape how she becomes. According to Soompi, Park Bo Young had gone through social isolation from her friends right when she debuted in a youth drama.

When young Park Bo Young showed off her talent in acting by participating in multiple filming projects, her school mates started treating her differently. It turned out, her friends were jealous of her because she got all the attentions for being an actress. Those who didn't like Park Bo Young would deliberately knock shoulders while passing by, and students from other classes would put trash in her bag. Lucky for her, the kids in her own class still had a soft heart for her that they're willing to help her to clean up the mess.

The situation got worse when one of her teachers put up a poster of her when she cast on a youth drama. Afraid of being bullied even worse, Park Bo Young cried as she begged her teacher to put down the poster. She admitted that the bullying experience still makes her afraid of getting hurt. Until now, Park Bo Young still couldn't stand malicious comments or harsh critics she receives online.

However, the situation got much better for Park Bo Young now. The actress is still working on her self-esteem and builds up more confidence to survive in the industry. In every occasion, Park Bo Young never gets tired of telling her fans to love themselves.
