While BEAST is back on its feet again as Highlight, Yong Junhyung is now ready to set a new goal for himself. The Highlight idol reportedly is preparing to release his solo album.
Yong Junhyung has released an announcement for his upcoming solo release "Wonder". According to Soompi, in the poster, Yong Jun Hyung spills the dates of teaser release and concept photos. One of the things that make "Wonder" is worth waiting for is Jonghyun's collaboration with rapper Heize in one of the tracks from the album.
Yong Jun Hyung previously has released a solo album while he and Highlight were still at Cube Entertainment. In the two-track digital album, Yong Junhyung collaborates with artist DAVII. Back in 2013, he also released a self-composed EP titled "Flower". Yong Junhyung's upcoming solo digital album is set to release on May 2 at 6 p.m. KST.
Meanwhile, Highlight has wrapped up its promotion of its new album after rebranding "Can You Feel It?". The boy group is doing incredibly well in its debut. Highlight's hit track from its latest album "Plz Don't be Sad" has topped multiple major K-Pop charts. Yoon Dojoon, Yong Junhyung, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang and Son Dongwoon have brought home two awards just a few days after they promoted as Highlight, Allkpop reported.
Highlight won the best performance award from "Music Bank" on April 7. Previously, the boy group has already scored a trophy from "Show! Champion!" for its album "Plz Don't be Sad". A while back, Highlight members have announced fans via V Live broadcast that they will be holding a concert on June 2-4 at Jamshil Gymnasium.
They also promised that they will come back soon with a repackage. However, they haven't decided the exact date yet. Well, hopefully, both Highlight and Yong Junhyung will gain an, even more, success with their new release.
