Iron Pleads 'Not Guilty' In Assaulting Girlfriend: Rapper To Bring Ex-Girlfriend To Court To Discredit Accusations

On Tuesday, April 18, rapper Iron was made to face the jury for the accusation of him assaulting his girlfriend. The rapper pleaded not guilty and denied the accusation.

According to Koreaboo, Iron officially denied in court that he hit his girlfriend, referred in this article as Ms. A, during their intimate moments. This was Iron's first public trial at the Seoul Central District Court.

During the court session, the prosecution stated that Iron had punched Ms. A during an intimate moment. Two weeks after, Iron allegedly hit Ms. A again that caused a severe injury that took more than a month to treat.

Iron's legal representative told in defense that the rapper did not deliberately hurt Ms. A. They added that she may have reassembled her memory.

"It's all karma. I never hit my ex-girlfriend," said Iron. "I requested for a witness today, and the truth will be revealed in the next public hearing through the interrogations," he later added.

Cho Ji Woo, Iron's lawyer, also added that an ex-girlfriend of Iron will be facing the jury to disprove the accusations of Ms. A. Iron is set to face the jury again on May 30.

As previously reported, Iron released a statement on March 14 in defense of the accusations. In his statement, Iron revealed that he met Ms. A at a photo shoot and that she has an interest in "sexual sadomasochism".

During their intimate moment, Iron stated that Ms. A demanded him to hit her on the face. Ms. A was angry after Iron denied her request.

Iron also revealed in his statement that Ms. A already has another boyfriend that's why he decided to broke up with her. To finish his statement, Iron admitted that he has flaws as everyone does but he would never hurt others especially a woman just because of his wants.
